I love beautiful stuff. I may not show it very much but I’m a girly girl at heart. A classic simple beauty with ribbons and pearls, ruffles and lace! Pastel colors and LOTS of flowers! Irises and daisys personally hehe. It’s why i fancy Lolita so much. The colors and the styles the poofy skirts and blouses and parasols ahh love. I don’t own lolita yet but i will! yosh!
I also LOVE candy and cakes of that sort, and to be around sweet things. Its like the sugar absorbs into your skin makes you feel all sweet inside. odd way of putting it but i think it gets my point across. Though my favorite color is green and my others are lavender and blue, I find pink a happy color, reminds me of frosting. I also find the sugary happiness in music, trance and j-pop and others.
Lately Iv’e been looking around for items and other ways to bring simple beauty into my life. I bought the cutest kitchen timer in the shape of a strawberry ice cream cone. I got some yarn in colors i wouldn’t normally pick and been reading alot of fairy tales.
Some even have a “Lolita Lifestyle” which pretty much just consists of living how you dress, in loveliness.

well if anyone hadn’t heard by now Ichi got her drivers license!!! yay!!! last Thursday huzzah! she went out for the first time by herself today, not only did she not get lost she felt like shes done it before! yay now to pick a car, a Yaris in red or white or a green beetle x3 is it weird referring to myself in third person? haha
Fairly sad that its over though me in steampunk I had a blast at the party you people are so funny haha had so much fun, though i was inside while all the pinata hijinks happend I saw video of it so that made up for it. watching koto and a Soul trying to beat a witches stuffing out was very entertaining. I did come out to see everyone on the roof though.
Migrating back to the lovely hospitable Venus’s quarters with co in tow talking nonesnse and laughing till the wee hours of the night I loved, havnt done that in years, and waking up in the morning to camera flashes and Mokona petting me. And the guys cooked while the girls….Night and Chris *friend of Venus and amazing all over* watched live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. Then off to Little Tokyo in maid garb to promote….all over good weekend
^ ^ Thanks to Momo, Maiyu and all the other peoples of the cafe for throwing an awesome party! and Venus for letting us crash at her place….and the Venus’s roommate….for her….good humor? haha I came home around mmm 7 something last night still in my maid dress, my dad telling me the skirt too short and my stockings too high, apparently liking the longer one better. so yes guys it was great seeing you all together again missed you and I LOVE you all forever.
well I’ve had an alright past few weeks I suppose. I’ve recently applied for a job at this little bakery thats opening up near my house. It’s called Baking Nirvana and its really cute I think. Its all black and pink, with like really cute pattern, and a big black chandelier its very goth loli or parisian whichever. And I met with the owner’s business partner who seemed to like me, said I was sweet and funny. She told me that “when you meet the owner you’ll see why it looks the way it does in here” so I hope thats a hint she likes me. so I’m biding my time enjoying my sweet tea and hoping for the best. Another piece of news, I’m going for my driver’s license on the 28th so I hope that goes well.
On a completely unrelated note, I started an anime called “The wallflower” which is hysterical. I hear the manga is better so I think I will check that out after. I suppose you would explain it like a mix between Ouran High School Hostclub and Fruits Basket. 4 beautiful boys try to teach emotionally scarred Sunako to be a lady to get free rent. only Sunako is creepy and looks like samara from the ring, and also acts like her. She became isolated after a boy she confessed her love to told her he didn’t like “ugly girls” so she hasn’t looked in a mirrior in two years and took comfort in slasher/splatter/monster movies and made friends with anatomy mannequins and and skeletons, her favorite being hiroshi. I reccomend its its great and heart warming.
Oh I will leave you with this tidbit of advice. I’ve nearly stabbed myself in the chest with a steak knife three times in a row the past three days, *unintentionally*. It actually happens to me alot always slicing avocados….which Im allergic to….ANYWAYS! Ignore the instinct to want to catch the knife when you drop it or it slips out of your hands, or you’ll end up with a piece of serrated steel lodged in your sternum….just let it fall. okie ^ ^

tis true i do. I love House music actually. along with Electronica, Trance and Techno, happy upbeat stuff i can just lose myself in. But Daft Punk will reign supreme. If you dont know who I’m talking about im about 90% sure you’ve heard or seen them before. Daft Punk are a DJ duo from france, known for being incognito, as rabbits or most popular Robots.

Ive been planning to make that helmet on the left for a convention for like two years now all i have is the skeleton sadly…..and i need a partner……..
My oldest sister turned me on to these geniuses about four years ago. I will forever remember it, on our way to my grandma’s house for Christmas eve and we stop at Best Buy and asks me “wanna hear some really awesome house music?” Changed my life…at least my taste in music haha. My favorite songs, Musique, One More Time, Robot Rock and Around the world you might have heard. Technologic was featured in a ipod commercial. And Digital Love was in a Gap commercial. They have the best what I call “driving” and “montage” music. Songs don’t always need lyrics to be powerful.
If you’re an anime fan you might have seen Insterstella 555 which featured the songs Something about us, One More Time, and Digital Love. If you havnt seen it i strongly reccomend you watch it, its a nice time.

I had a chance to see them in concert but went to Anime Expo instead and i STILL kick myself everytime i think about it. I still REGRET passing this up. Now I have to wait for them to come back to America whenever that will happen gahhh.

ok so i had a fairly calm weekend, mostly consisting of babysitting my 4 yearold nephew, grocery shopping, and reading.I refilled my humming bird feeder, for my lovely little hummers friday, i call them squeaky and lary, but squeaky is giving me more attitude, the first time i refilled it she hovered over me like “yeah you better fill that back up” then i think first she didnt like the raw sugar now she wont let any other near it, except for Larry. i tell them they need to share but birds *shakes head*
Sunday i went to a family friend’s 75th birthday. oh how i love her. she used to model in the 50’s ect ect and shes still so glamorous. she still has her furs and pearls and everything ^ ^. also yesterday facebook diabled my account for no reason so that kind of ticked me off abit. but i just made a new one and slowly readding the people i lost bleh.
I do have things planned for this month in addition to halloween, im going to test for my driver’s license, and i have a possible job at a bakery. *the boss lady keeps emailing me and using this smiley face 
so i think she likes me ^ ^*
now the only thing i’m worried about at the moment is how i’m going to get to these planned photo shoots as i live in the middle of nowhere compared to the rest of my lovely cafe family *walks in circles* what to do what to do? Me and squall shall figure somthing out *nod nod*

Oh books how I adore them. I’m a dork that way because out of all the obsessive semi normal things to hoard, like shoes, and handbags I myself hoard books. I love them, being around them, holding them, stacking them, possessing them. Thats a weird thing about me is I’m probably the only person you can’t bribe with food….cake maybe…but not food, books….defiantly. I can’t help it anymore Its and illness -.- *manga has love too*
Another weird thing is, I never really got into my obsessive state that I am in now until 8th grade. why? because my “friends” were jerks and literally abandoned me and they were a sense of comfort to me…..long story short i was alone, needed something to do, took refudge in the library and…well…never left. x3. In high school, along with my text books, id have like 3 novels so my backpack was three times as heavy as it should have been. Because being the freak i am i cant read just one at a time nooo i have to read 6….yes…6. Book marks everywhere! From paper ones, nice plastic ones with tassles *i have kyo from fruits basket*, ribbons, even tags off my clothes.
I love going into books stores and wondering for literally HOURSSSS, but because of that its hard to find people to go book shopping with me *sad* Though i havnt been able to latly since im a little short in the munny depo. I can’ enjoy it of its not mine *grumble*
But like ive mentioned before I’ve been going to second hand stores, and just barely looked through the books books there and oh what a ball that has been! (imagine the scene in Beauty and the Beast where he shows Belle the library….only if I were given a library like that i would die) To me it was like so many that need new homes, someone to love them again. So i bought like 4 for 4 dollars boy am I a happy camper.

jumping on the cafe blog bandwagon glad i did ^ ^. Hello everyone! *wave*
Ive been on the second hand store circuit for a while now, since most of my costumes have been found items ive altered and Ive been in really good luck lately. I really recommend looking in your local GoodWill or Salvation army or random thrift store for things before you buy, you would be pleasantly surprised with what you find if you looked. I call this “Treasure Hunting”. I have found my blue blazer for my Kyoya cosplay from Ouran High School Host Club, and most of my both of my maid dresses, including my long petticoat. So trust me when i say that one mans junk is another peroson’s/cosplayer’s ZOMG I NEED THAT NOW!
Yestderday i found the most perfect candy jar. i LOVE me my pixie sticks and i eat them every chance i get but they have been all over the place, i think this was made for me put right in front of me what luck!
