So over spring break I busted an epic mission to Seattle for Sakura-con. It was a total of 42 hours driving there and getting back in one piece =_= but it was still fun. I learned so many cool things there and got to see a bunch of awesome stuff 
The con itself was pretty chill and there was a lot of cool things to do.
Some of the tings that I learned on my trip was:
- they pump your gas for you in Oregon and its pretty cheap compared to Cali
- there is no sales tax in Oregon and theres a whole lot of nothing.
- people in Oregon and Seattle are pretty nice compared to La
- the weather in Seattle is super cold and windy compared to back home -.-
- the arcade at Sakura-con had free games all con and they had a broad selection of pannels
Also some pros about Seattle are its so clean compared to La, the transportation system is so good, and they have this awesome store called Daiso which is soo like a Japanese 99cents store but everything is either $1.50 or higher
I only ended up cosplaying for day one but it was still an experience to remember :] heres my picture summary of my trip
Although I enjoyed my trip to Seattle I couldn’t wait to get back home. I realized that I was a California girl because I soo almost froze my bum off in the cold XD Lastly on a side note, Washington was the farthest north that ive ever been in my live and on that road trip I drove the farthest that Ive ever driven before in my life, across Oregon XwX
My blog that is. Ive been a horrible author and neglected my blog for a good 6 months O_O but now im back and ive got lots to talk about C:
Last weekend AniMaid Cafe appeared at the 2010 Cherry Blossom Festival Southern California. We performed, played games and even had a lolita fashion show. I Had a lot of fun promoting our cafe and meeting a bunch of new people. My favorite part was being able to participate in the cosplay contest that they had and seeing all the cute dogs . I swear I wanted to take them all home >w< Sadly because we were soo busy I didn’t get to eat the delicious looking food at Dogzilla or take many pictures ;_;
Whew well last weekend sure was fun and tiring. I barely came back from Vegas yesterday with just enough time to make it to class. I forgot how much traveling can drain you D: Well any who to recap my favorite parts of the week heres some pics.
Did some pre Vegas food shopping.
Went to the outlet and bought a star necklace and saw this XD
Tried 16 different flavors of soda at the coco-cola store.
Walked the strip
Ate at Dal Toro with some really shiny cars.
Drove throuh some really cool looking fog.
Came back to a even more bloomed flower <3
New super cute wallet!!
ok so after three hours of untangeling and two combs later I finally untangled my purple wig that I got in the mail im so stolked. ill be using this wig for karen from mermaid melody. I realy like how I havent had to buy any fabric in a long while cause of my giant reserve of fabric that I accumulated when I used to work at joanns lol . im still sketching out the pattern for this costume but dont think ill be finished with it till like AX next year . yay for group cosplay XD
As for my rabi~en~rose cosplay i got my pink contacts for them too :] I couldn’t wait till my outfit was done to try them on so i just did a test shot now lol :3 There not that noticable in normal light but when I use flash you can see the pink 
uggh im running into some problems with the ears for my rabi~en~rose costume tho :[ in particular the ears. I want to attach them to my head but I dont want there to be a noticable headband showing :[ Besides that I just need to cover my shoes, make the top. sew on the buttons and attach the tail and ill be all done :] ill hopefully finish it by next week so ill be good to go by Halloween :]
lol just kidding.
Ok so all this weekend I had work from 7 am . Yah it may not be that early for most people but im a very nocturnal person D: im finally glad that its over but im going to miss doing really easy work XD Getting up so early has made me realize how much more productive one can be when you get up in the morning. lol Any who after work I went to find a blender and sandals to buy but I failed at finding any that I liked. Gosh I never realized how hard it is to find sandals that are just simple. No rhinestones or elaborate designs, just plain black. Ughh it took me 2 days to fail finding sandals I liked in my size.
Mmmmm now for the best part. My bodyline order came in on Friday!!! sdfljhbvlfjgbaljh Yayy I was soo excited. Once I got home I opened the package and tried it on heres the miko outfit I ordered. Its a little tight around the waist but I love it XDD
I also ordered a little red bow to wear with it too. Its a little wrinkly but ill iron it out later.
Also heres two more dresses that I bough recently. I cant wait to wear them out. I have all the stuff for the outfit from head to toe any everything too XD
I want to take photos of my new outfits lol ajshdfblajrbvflj And lastly the icing on the cake is that my wig is supposed to come in the mail today so ill check on that once I get home XD
>w< I love getting presents in the mail XD
Yesterday at work I won a pinapple which is pretty cool cause I ended up almost taking it to school with me after lol All I gotta do is figure out how to cut it openand eat all its nummy deliciousness BD 
Also I got Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, a Shugo Chara game and Idol Master but im sad cause I cant read any of the last two games :[ . I guess thats sortta one reason that I should learn more Japanese lol
And lastly over the week I ordered some stuff online. Well my friend did for me anyway XD Im so excited cause not only did I order my eyelashes from Tampopo a couple of weeks ago but I also ordered some accessories , a miko outfit and contacts too >w<. With that I also bought a purple wig online. Im soo stolked cause now I have even more of the stuff that I need to finish Rabi~en~Rose plus a wig for my next costume projects ^^
Its been pretty eventful this week but im a bit lazy to type about it. :3
Kyaaa im sooo excited my baby is growing up sooo big and strong XD and by baby I mean my flower!!! <3
As most of you may not know I started growing some flowers over the summer. I originally started with a bunch of assorted seeds that I found around my house and planted in little yougurt cups. I planted them the weekend before AX and when I came back only one of them sprouted. I dont really know which one did because I didnt lable them but its ok ill find out when it blooms XD
Im excited because this week I discovered that my flower has a bud >w< I cant wait to see what color it comes out as but once it does bloom ill be sure to post it and all its pretty flowery glory

Along with that flower I also planted another seed aswell a couple months later. I have a bad habit of not labeling what im planting but I guess that makes it worth the wild of waiting for to bloom XD . The scond one I planted grew cute. theres six little sprouts and and there shaped like a star, there about evenly spaced apart when they sprouted too >w< heres a progress pic too its not as far ahead as the first one but its getting there >w<
keh heh heh its like im playing gardening mama irl but even better cause I dont have to do so much mantinace on them XD
Homg so seeing all the maids and their pretty wigs really makes me want to get my own >w< Im not all that seasoned in wearing wigs for cosplay and the first time I did was as Marie from Soul Eater. ( I borrowed Yae-chan’s) But since then im totally in love with wearing wigs XD It’s soo fun and plus I get to have funky hair colors and everything
One thing that also is deterring me from wigs is that I am online shopping illiterate T-T Ive barely made my first pay pal transaction to Tampopo and that’s about as far as I go . I sortta get the hang of it but im so scared that ill mess something up or ill make a bad order or something :O Also im those types of people that like getting their orders now lol. I absolutely hate waiting. At first it sortta feels like its the couple of days before Christmas but after a few weeks the present never come and it makes me sad and anxious. lol
Well I will eventually get over my phobia of online shopping but as of now ima take it slow and steady XD Right now im slowly inching my way around the functions of ebay so I can sell my stuffs but im still intimidated by the whole shipping procedure and what not >.> and once I do I can order wigs and what not online XD and be like all the cool kids out there with their online shopping savvyness. lol
P.S. As I slowly immerse myself into the internet shopping world, can anyone suggest any wig, accessory, or contact lens sites that they shop from so I can start with a trustworthy source . also any tips or advice when internet shopping too would be nice for a newbie like me would be greatly appreciated :]
Hai Hai everyone Mokona here well any who the past few days have been pretty hectic, school wise >.< were taking our first exams and what not but im surviving barely lol
But enough with lame ol school, ive got more exciting things to talk about. In particular cosplay\ ^o^/ *yaaaaahhh whoooo cheeer awesomee kyyyyyaaaaaa allllrightttt*
Lets see as of now my current project is Rabi-en-rose from Digi Charat. Im planning to have that done by Halloween XD Besides that im also compling a new list of costumes that ive been craving to do. Over the summer ive finished watching Burst Angel and Coyote Ragtime Show. And it sortta left me with a craving to cosplay as either Meg , April, May or July XD I would love to cosplay from there but id perfer to do a group cause I think its more fun. Another thing about that is making the weapons. Im not all that great at prop making yet so im a little weary about cosplaying as them ._.
Recently ive also been watching Shining Tears X Wind and rewatching bits and pieces of Lucky Star. I want to cosplay as Seena but i dont feel that confident in my sewing skills yet >.< as for Lucky Star, I really like it when they cosplay from other animes. I have a poster of the main cast of Lucky Star cosplaying as Vocaloid characters and i really want a wall scroll with them cosplaying as the girls from Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya in bunny suits. I love it when anime characters cosplay as anime characters XD lol and because of that im tempted to cosplay as Konata cosplaying as Miku or as bunny suit Haruhi.
Guah guah guah soo many costumes and so little time lol guah I wish I could quit school and play dress up forever XD
So fun. Ok so today I played this game called Techinica it was really fun. Im not that good at it yet but i like the music videos that they play :3
nyu nyu nyu I wanna get better at fighting games >w< I wanna winnn and get prize money lol. Im slowly reintroducing myself to Street Fighters and King of Fighters. I like KOF better tho. Im bad cause I only like to play the cute girl characters XD. I played those for a bit but I got tired of loosing so I played a round of Guilty Gear and then some Bubble Bobble , yah I know completely unrelated but its one of my favorite games :] AlsoI think I wanna get me a copy of Blaze Blue so I can start geting awesome at that , plus maybe I can start finding my next cosplay project from there =D
